CCA Fiesta - Service - Learning Club.

DISCLAIMER: This was actually yesterday's post but I felt that it wasn't good enough as I was quite tired. Decided to read through and do some edits before publishing it. Sorry for not blogging yesterday :(

It's gonna be 10pm in a few minutes and I've been really busy today! But it's been a happy busy, super productive despite getting sick :)

I was all about going to blog about how school was today but I had to talk about this first!

For RP Students and freshies, CCA FIESTA STARTS TOMORROW!

which is today cos this post was yesterday's lololol.

Headed for a short meeting and helped out with the rest for our booth.

SERVICE - LEARNING CLUB

(SLC)

Yes! I know, I seem so fierce, unfriendly, unkind but NO OKAY :(

I had such a fun time helping out, the entire venue looked like an IT-Fair heh.

NICE RIGHT. Thank you. AHA, just joking. 
All of us did a great job helping and planning. I didn't really do much but still X)

So if you're interested..........

What's SLC about?

In my opinion, it's plainly to help; love and care for others ^^
So if you're a really helpful person (like me loljustjoking) or love to help out, you should totally join us!

We help to organize events like One Heart and EIPIC (which I'm in) and you get to gain experience by organizing and helping out in many ways.
You'll definitely learn something after joining us and there are many friendly people in the SLC Committee!


My Experience in SLC.

I've actually been in SLC since my first year in RP but I wasn't active due to many reasons.
But after I got introduced by a friend who needed a volunteer for an event, I started to become "alive".

It's only been a month or so since I've officially entered SLC and even though there are no events that I've really completed, I've been enjoying every single moment with the people there.

I have yet to know all the people but the ones around me so far are always so kind and loving. They're so friendly and sociable you feel as if you're part of a family. I always feel happy whenever I'm with them.

One thing that I've learn so far is to definitely cut down on my ego.
YES; I have the biggest ego a girl could ever have.
I seldom smile at people including to those I know, I sometimes try to avoid situations when it comes to helping or even saying "hi" to a friend far away.

Joining SLC makes me all kind and innocent again.
Where you just get along with the people around you, organize events and help out in whatever you can. It makes me feel peaceful :)

Our Service - Learning Booth is at Agora Hall 4.  Booth 51 from 12-2 and 4-6.

Weekend at Grandma's.

This was last week photos, sorry for the super overdue :(

I have quite a number of photos to edit so I'll post this up first.

Finally got to meet my twin pig as she had her exams before that.

My hair was pretty messed due to the hair cut.....
& the dear Kelly always loves to take photos of my mole (it's the obvious one)

but always fails to take a clear photo. LOL

So anyway, Chandler came over quite late. HE WAS SO FRIENDLY :D

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector - Review.

It's been awhile since I did reviews, I actually did this during the holidays but only had time to post it up now.

So today; I'll be reviewing...............

GARNIER MIRACLE SKIN PERFECTOR.

This product was actually super hot last year & I got it as a Christmas gift.

It's my first ever BB Cream that I've used and I can say I'm pretty impressed! ^^

Looking at the whole 10 benefits, it sounds too good to be true. 

But after using it for few months; I totally agree!

Before I go into detail, let's see the difference it can make =D

Before. I had a pimple scar (if you could spot it)

I totally love the texture and colour tone. Not cakey at all too ^^

After.

Even though the difference isn't so obvious in the pictures, you could tell my face looks more moisturized!

My pimple scar looks much more reduced.

Let's talk about three factors that I love about the Garnier BB Cream. I wouldn't want to bore you all with too many words hehe.

1) MOISTURE
2) COVERAGE
3) LONG LASTING

MOISTURE
Moisture is a number one factor for me as I'm in RP and the classrooms are all air-conditioned.
I didn't use moisturizer or the Garnier BB Cream for my first year and my face didn't feel good. I didn't know what went wrong either.

So after realizing how the stupid air-con dried up my face, I started to find out more and used this!
I usually apply another moisturizer before applying the Garnier BB Cream and it totally helps to lock moisture when I go to school.

When I first started to apply it on my face; it actually didn't feel moisturizing and slightly sticky.
But after a few minutes, IT TOTALLY FELT LIKE I DIDN'T APPLY ANYTHING.
My face felt so smooth I couldn't believe it.

It gives such a smooth and flawless texture to my face ^^

COVERAGE
I honestly and proudly say that my skin complexion is up to my standards except for major pimple scars that I always get near the time of the month.

Eye bags are also slightly covered & I love it as I do not have heavy ones.
So after applying the Garnier BB Cream, I look like I've none!

The coverage of the Garnier BB Cream really helps to lift and brighten up my face.
It helps to reduce redness which I usually have near my nose or chin :(

Last but not least; I don't look as tired as the colour tone matches my skin (blends well) and it gives a complete light finish to my face!

 Doesn't look like I've applied anything heavy, I really really love this!

LONG LASTING

Some make up products doesn't last as long and sometimes they "melt" because it's so humid in Singapore!

The Garnier BB Cream effect is so long that I could go out with it for an entire day. 

I don't even bring it out to apply after because it's enough for me to last for an entire day.

Sometimes I even forget that I have BB Cream on my face, it really does wonders :')

The best time to use the Garnier BB Cream for me would be for long and tiring days. 

I don't want to look so oily and tired by the end of the day if I'm still out. 

For heavier and longer use, Moisturizer - BB Cream - Powder - Eye Liner - Blusher.

TADA.

Looking so refreshed and ready for photos during Chinese New Year.

I really recommend this to all the ladies who seldom use make up (like me). 

Easy to use; comfortable to apply and simple!

It costs about $18 - $20 and I think it's pretty alright for a multi-purpose BB Cream.
